Waiting lists are not maintained for closed classes. Students who are unable to enroll for a course that has closed prior to their registration appointment are encouraged to select an alternative online course in the event space does not become available in your first choice of class.
The following are options students have to add an online course:
After you have completed the registration process, you may check back through telephone registration to see if a seat may have become available due to a student withdrawal or due to a student being dropped for nonpayment of fees.
For online mix classes, students may attend the first class meeting to see if any space is available as a result of student ‘no shows’.
For online only classes, students may request permission to add their desired course via the web. To submit your request, go to onlinegwc.org, click on class list. If the instructor is accepting petitioners, a green submit link will be available.
Students may also check class status by visiting the GWC webpage at: www.gwc.info. Select the searchable schedule option to check enrollment and availability of any class.
