WAIT LIST:
For any closed test session, students may arrive 30 minutes early to place their names on a waiting list.
TO TAKE THIS TEST YOU MUST:
1. TURN IN A COMPLETED APPLICATION TO THE COLLEGE.
2. MAKE A TESTING APPOINTMENT: Call 714-895-8388 OR come to the Assessment Center in the Technology Building Room 100 Monday - Thursday between 8 am and 6 pm, and Fridays between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

NOTE: Once you have made a testing appointment, call or stop by the Counseling Department to schedule an Academic Advising appointment (714) 895-8119. Spaces are limited. You must have test results for your appointment AND you must complete your counseling appointment before you register.
DO THE FOLLOWING THE DAY OF THE TEST:
a. PURCHASE A PARKING PERMIT:
Permits cost $1.00 for the day. DO NOT park in metered parking if you are taking both math and English tests. Metered parking is good for 2 hours at a time. Parking is free on the weekend. Please note: you are encouraged to park in the Gothard parking lot, due to the swap meet on Saturdays.
b. REPORT TO:
Technology Building Room 100. Please take care of your personal needs before entering the test room. You will not be permitted to leave the test once it begins.
c. ARRIVE 15 MINUTES EARLY:
NO ONE IS ADMITTED LATE! Testing begins promptly at the scheduled time.
BRING THE FOLLOWING ON THE DAY OF THE TEST:
a. A photo I.D. such as a driver’s license or passport. NO I.D., NO TEST.
b. A Social Security number OR a GWC Student I.D. number.
c. Two, #2 Pencils.
d. A sweater or light jacket for comfort. The test room is air-conditioned.
DO NOT BRING THE FOLLOWING ON THE DAY OF THE TEST, THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE TEST ROOM:
a. Children.
b. Calculators and dictionaries.
c. Electronic devices. If you bring an electronic device to the test and it disrupts the test session, you may be asked to leave.
d. Food or Drink.

NOTE: Test sessions last 3 hours. Test results are given at the end of the test and are valid for 2 years. Keep results for your records. Duplicate copies cost $1.00.
