The Broadcast and Video Production programs offers an AA Degree major along with  Career Certificates and Certificates of Specialization in  entry level, intermediate and advanced training in \Video Production, Broadcast Journalism, Sportscasting, Electronic Moviemaking ,Electronic Graphics, Broadcast Announcing, Non Linear Editing, Motion Graphics/Special Effects, Screenwriting, Producing and Directing,  Video Engineering and Remote Television Production Truck Operations.

The BVP program provides students with hands on industry based training. The BVP program: assists students with acquiring internships, career counseling and job placement.

The BVP program:

  • Provides services to the community through participation in community service outreach programs that enable non profit community organizations to produce information programming for broadcast and or carriage on local cable television systems.
  • Supports the college’s athletic program through the taping and cablecasting of athletic events and activities.  
  • Supports instructor and the instructional program through the taping and cablecasting of cultural and performing Arts events
  • Supports the college’s outreach program through the production of outreach video programs.
