The Cosmetology program includes Cosmetology and Esthetics classes. Basic skills in math, science, writing, and critical thinking are included in the curriculum. Courses offered include theory/lecture classes, lecture/demonstration classes, and client labs. Enrollment consists of 160 to 170 students who attend classes 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The client lab serves approximately 300 350 customers from the campus and community on a weekly basis. A reputation of excellence recognized throughout the state, nationally, and internationally is reflected in our high enrollment numbers and the successful placement of our graduates.

The Cosmetology program maintains a high pass/fail ratio for the state licensing (this year in the first 3 quarters our statistics are; 94% - practical, 73% written combining cosmetology and esthetics).
The Cosmetology program maintains an excellent reputation with industry through our advisory committee and faculty outreach.
The cosmetology students won awards in styling, cutting, and make-up in 2004/2006.
The Cosmetology department is active with many outreach projects including hosting the yearly Working Wardrobe event and visitations to career fairs at various high schools.
