The Information Technology Department offers vendor neutral courses that apply to all levels of computer and networking technologies with a focus on education and services that prepare students to launch, enhance or change careers.  The courses offered through this Department help prepare students for industry certification exams from entry level to advanced computer and networking labs.

Highlights:

  • Course offerings for both vocational and transfer students
  • Course content ranges from basic computer literacy, repair, basic software programming, network design, configuration, troubleshooting, computer and network security, switches, routers, and forensics.
  • The Information Technology program has state of the art computer equipment. All 84 computers have the latest software applications and programs need for all courses taught within the Information Technology department.
  • Each class is equipped with whiteboards and overhead projectors for demonstrations and presentations.
  • All courses offer labs and hands-on assignments to help the student get a better understanding of what types of task they will encounter in the computer industry.
