Complete the Golden West College Diesel Technology Certificate Program and prepare for a high-paying/high-demand career opportunity.
All training, both classroom and hands-on is conducted in the diesel complex on the GWC campus. Students will have an opportunity to study various makes and models of agricultural, automotive, trucking, marine, industrial and construction application diesel engines.
Skills you will learn include rebuilding diesel engines, servicing fuel injection systems, diesel tune-ups, trouble-shooting, DC electrical systems, system diagnosis and testing, engine dynamometer testing, transmissions, air brakes, differentials, lubrication, hydraulics and cooling systems.
