THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS FEE WAIVER (BOGW) Effective Summer 2007, the BOGW will pay your college enrollment fee ($20/unit) only if you are a California resident, and one of the following conditions applies to you when you enroll: You have already qualified for some form of Federal financial aid other than an FFEL Loan during the same academic year for which you are seeking a BOGW. You or your parents are receiving TANF/Cal WORKS benefits, SSI or General Assistance at the time that you apply for the BOGW. You will be required to provide documentation to show participation in one of these programs. You fall into the qualifying income bracket as determined by filling out a BOGW application.
