Library faculty welcome the opportunity to work with instructors to develop assignments and to help students develop the necessary information competency skills to complete assignments. Librarians can tailor instruction to meet the specific needs of students and instructors. Library 110 - Introduction to Library Resources. 1 unit.
Independent study and online course using a workbook and the Internet. Learn about libraries, computer catalogs, periodical indexes and other library resources. 8 week course. Credit option only. Transfer Credit: CSU

Library 120 - Libraries & the Internet. 1 unit.
An introduction to research using the Internet. Learn about search engines, virtual libraries, and online databases. Offered in an online format. 8 week course. Transfer Credit: CSU
