Language Arts Complex - Measure M:
The new Language Arts Complex project is nearly complete. Additional exterior signage and asphalt restoration/repair is forthcoming. Noise level will be minimal this week.
GenEd Bldg Demo Project - Campus and Measure M:
Demolition of the remaining building at the east end of the site continues this week with large tractor/trailer rigs arriving to haul off debris. Earth moving equipment may be mobilized sometime during the week as well. Construction vehicle activity will impact the west parking lot near Auto Tech and the Native Garden, and the access road along Auto Tech, north of the site. Extra care should be taken along the access road and in the parking lot. Expected demo completion is around the end of the spring semester, and the new landscaping is anticipated to be in place by the end of the summer break, all weather permitting. There is no pedestrian access within the construction fence. Noise level will be low to moderate for these activities. (See attached map [PDF] for work area and construction vehicle routes)
