Dear Golden West College Student:
Welcome to Golden West College. We are glad that you have taken a moment to look into our Scholarship Program. This booklet will prove to be a valuable tool as you apply for resources to help fund your education.
The Golden West College Foundation exists to help support the college financially. One of the major goals of the Foundation is to provide student scholarships. Funding for the scholarship program is made possible by donations from individuals, businesses, corporations and private foundations. In keeping with the college’s focus on student success, the Foundation is proud to provide a scholarship program which enables you to reach your academic goals.
There are a number of scholarships available each year. Many students believe that they do not meet the criteria, and others believe that if they are not receiving financial aid they cannot apply. Just take a few minutes to fill out the enclosed
scholarship application. A complete and detailed application may lead to a financial reward.
We also offer financial aid and a number of additional scholarships from other sources. Visit
the Financial Aid Office located in Library Building, Room 120, or the Financial Aid website at www.goldenwestcollege.edu/fao.
